The APOCEF association, in collaboration with the ASGARA organisation as part of the‘Maroua Green City’ programme, has reforested the sites of Kodek Secondary School, Kongola Health Centre,Kongola livestock market, Kodek Primary School and the school

A Marou'Art artistic and cultural centre will be set up in December 2023 to provide a space for creation, specialised training, rich and diversified cultural exchanges and expression for artists and craftspeople in northern Cameroon, with a view to supporting their resilience and helping them with their various artistic and cultural projects.

Activities to launch the association Saturday 16 December 2023: Opening of a contemporary art gallery Afrikly E. a space to promote arts and crafts in the Sahel by highlighting the local know-how, creativity, talent, products and masterpieces of the Sahel's local craftspeople and artists, with a view to supporting the local economy and boosting their creativity.

Opening from 12 April to 12 June 2025, the Afrikly E Art Gallery, run by the APOCEF association, had the pleasure of presenting the exhibition ‘PAS-À-PAS’ in Maroua, in the Far North region. This exhibition highlights the notion of progression, transformation and dialogue with the environment.

On 31 May 2025, the Afrikly E Art Gallery, supported by the APOCEF association, held a Master Class on the theme: Being an artist today in the Sahel, building and promoting your career. This Master Class brought together 28 participants, including 3 panellists.

The APOCEF association is organising a cultural talk with artist Alioum Moussa on the theme of ‘Traditional craftsmanship versus mass production’ at its Afrikly E. Gallery (Maroua, Domayo) on 2 October 2025. The discussion aims to question the place and future of traditional crafts in a context marked by industrialisation and mass production. The debate will bring together artisans, artists, cultural actors and many others.
